Alberta athletes travel to China for the 2014 Artistic World Championships in Nanning, China - Hello from China

We are excited to announced that Alberta MAG athletes, Jackson Payne and Coach Liang Cheng (Capital City Gym Club); Kevin Lytwyn and Coach Jason Woodnick (U of C) and National Team Coach Tony Smith along with the rest of Team Canada arrived in Beijing, China on Sept. 25. The 2.5-week trip starts with trainings in various facilities in China and will conclude with athletes participating in the 45th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Nanning, China. AGF president and CEO, Scott Hayes has the privilege of joining the team that travels to China; this is his first time visiting China. On his behalf, the AGF web master will be posting news of our athletes’ training, sightseeing, competitions and meetings with the Chinese Gymnastics Officials. Stand by, more to come!
