8 Alberta Athletes Set to Compete at the Trampoline Gymnastics World Age Group Competition

The 2019 FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Age Group Competition (WAGC) will take place in Tokyo, Japan from December 5-8, 2019. From Alberta, a total of 8 athletes, 3 coaches, 1 judge and 1 team manager have been named by Gymnastics Canada to represent Canada.

Athletes were selected based on their performance at the Elite Canada competition held in Calgary, AB this past May and the Canadian Championships competition held in Oshawa, ON this past July.

The competition provides junior athletes with an opportunity to compete on the world stage against the world's best in their age category. They are also competing in the same venue where the 2020 Olympics will be held.
