Changes to AGF Staffing and Hours During COVID-19

In response to the current COVID-19 situation, the Alberta Gymnastics Federation (AGF) has made temporary adjustments to its internal staffing structure.
Effective April 8, 2020, and until further notice, two positions have been placed on furlough while all remaining staff are working reduced hours. This allows AGF to continue providing essential services to the membership during a difficult time while maintaining operational and financial efficiencies that ensure long-term sustainability of the organization.
AGF staffing hours will be as follows outside of statutory holidays:

Due to this reduction in hours and the evolving nature of COVID-19, some services will be impacted, and priorities will have to be revisited on an ongoing basis. Staff will remain accessible via the contact information provided on the AGF website but may not be able to respond to enquiries within the typical 24-hour business window or outside their respective work hours. We thank you in advance for your patience.
Please note that sponsorship/partnership questions can be sent to comm@abgym.ab.ca and events related questions can be sent to ceo@abgym.ab.ca. However, events are not a top-priority and may have to wait until AGF is able to once again host group gatherings and the events position has been reinstated.
The AGF Board of Directors and staff will also continue to provide members with updates via email, the ongoing virtual town halls and the AGF COVID-19 updates webpage so please stay engaged and check back often.
Hopefully, circumstances will allow a return to ‘normal’ at some point soon. In the meantime, we thank you for your ongoing support and understanding during this tumultuous time. We are all in this together!
