Two Alberta Gymnastics Coaches Suspended Pending Investigation of Policy Violations

CALGARY, AB (January 31, 2019) – The Alberta Gymnastics Federation (AGF) and Gymnastics Canada have provisionally suspended two elite level coaches, Ms. Valerie Oudin and Ms. Sara Stafford, of the Champions Gymnastics club in Edmonton, AB. The suspensions stem from written formal complaints received by Gymnastics Canada last week that outlined alleged violations of Gymnastics Canada’s Ethics and Code of Conduct policies over an extended period of time. On Monday, January 28th, Ms. Oudin and Ms. Stafford were provisionally suspended by Gymnastics Canada. As part of AGF’s reciprocity agreement with Gymnastics Canada, provisional suspensions pending outcomes of the investigation were issued by AGF on Wednesday, January 30th.
