Upcoming training mandate for ALL Preschool Coaches
Within the next 2-3 years Gymnastics Canada will be mandating that ALL Preschool/Active Start Gymnastics coaches be trained in the ACTIVE START specialty. If you coach children 6 years and under it is highly recommended that you complete the Active Start training course. This new standard for training is attainable by simply attending a 1-day course.
AGF is offering an ACTIVE START course in Calgary on December 29th from 9am - 6pm. There is lots of space! The registration deadline is December 19, 2012 (midnight). If you can't attend this course - no problem; you still have plenty of time to complete this component. AGF will be offering more ACTIVE START courses in the new year. Keep checking the AGF calendar for upcoming courses.
