Position Summary
The Alberta Gymnastics Federation (AGF) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as the Trampoline Gymnastics (TG) Program Manager. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the TG Program Manager will collaborate with TG Technical Chairs, the TG Technical Assembly (TTTA), TG Technical Committee (TTTC), and other staff members to oversee the administration and development of the Alberta TG program in alignment with AGF’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
•Strategic and Operational Planning: Develop and manage the TG Program’s operational, strategic, and budget plans in collaboration with the appropriate committees.
•Program Coordination: Work with the TTTA and TTTC to address program needs, including setting meeting agendas, taking minutes, pathway development, and aligning program growth with AGF’s Strategic Plan.
•Team Alberta Support: Assist in coordinating Team Alberta travel logistics.
•Technical Documentation: Support the creation of technical handbooks, manuals, and sport packages for events and games.
•Event Organization: Provide technical assistance for special event planning and execution.
•Representation: Represent AGF at key events, including AGM weekends, biennial Congress events, GymCan AGM/Semi-AGM, and operational meetings.
•Competitions and Camps: Attend AGF-sanctioned competitions, camps, and testing events to support operations.
•Communication and Outreach: Collaborate with communications teams to enhance the program’s visibility through social media and other channels.
•Liaison Responsibilities: Maintain relationships with other Provincial/Territorial gymnastics federations and Gymnastics Canada (GymCan).

Qualifications

•The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for sport and possess the following skills and experience:
•Strong organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
•Experience in Trampoline & Tumbling or another gymnastics discipline is an asset.
•Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and work both independently and collaboratively.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with social media platforms.
•Knowledge of software like QuickBooks, Uplifter, and Sportzsoft is a plus.
•Coaching experience in amateur sports and/or experience in the not-for-profit sector is an asset.

Position Details
•Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week, with potential for additional hours during busy periods (e.g., competitions).
•Workplace Type: The position is based in Calgary, Alberta. A hybrid work arrangement may be discussed after an initial adjustment and learning period in the role.
•Salary: $22.00–$27.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
•Start Date: February 2025 (flexible).
