The candidate must have a minimum Level 2 NCCP women’s artistic certification or higher.  Looking for minimum of 3-5 years of experience in competitive gymnastics. Our club is offering a salary range of $55,000 - $68,000 per year based on qualifications and years’ experience.  Norfort Gymnastics Association also pays a performance bonus which will be paid twice a year. A 40 hour per week schedule will mostly consist of mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.  Position based on a 40 per hour work week, training and developing different levels of our competitive team. Need to be familiar with concepts, procedures and women’s artistic gymnastics technical knowledge.  Candidates must be able to demonstrate they have coached and mentored gymnasts through a progression through competitive levels.

We are a small club in a small town that is growing at a rapid rate.  If you are looking for a fun, flexible job and you love working with kids of all ages we want to hear from you.  We are seeking enthusiastic, energetic, dependable team players who have experience in effectively communicating with children of all ages.  We are currently hiring for a Certified Level 1 NCCP coach.  Criminal record check and vulnerable sector clearance required.  Active Start Certification and First Aid considered an asset.

For high school or university student who will be full-time in school in fall 2017

Summer 2017. Temporary full-time.

We’re looking for coaches and strategic planners who are excited to join us in the learning and multi-tasking it takes to run our gymnastics club.

Your coaching experience can be in any of our club’s programs: Rec, T&T or Artistic. If you’re on the strategic side, you’re interested in the opportunities within our non-profit structure. Whatever your background, you believe that gymnastics is important and that inspiring gymnasts through awesome coaching makes a positive difference in the world.

Training to advance your skills is part of the package.

Your day will be divided between:

  • Coaching, research or planning.
  • Working with a senior staff mentor.
  • Creating amazing set-ups or digital/written content to tantalize participants.

Coaching will include opportunities in Early Learners, Freestyle, Aerial Arts and Cangym/Canjump levels 1-6. Other coaching may be part of the mix, for example: pre-comp, early comp or advanced rec.

Two positions are available:

Early Summer Staff

  • 30 hours per week. June 19 to August 19
  • Desired level of education: university or entering university in the Fall.

Late Summer Staff

  • 30 hours per week. July 1 to September 2
  • Desired level of education: high school or university/entering university in the Fall.

Hourly wages depend on your qualifications and experience.
