Video Consent Form

If you will be submitting a video of yourself as part of your coach evaluation, please ensure that any participants who appear in your video have signed the following form:

Coach Evaluation Video Consent, Waiver, Indemnity and Release Form

This form does not need to be submitted to AGF. Please keep on file at your facility.

Gymnastics Foundations (GF) Certification

Complete the following steps to become a certified Gymnastics Foundations (GF) coach in the following Sport-Specific areas: GF Active Start, GF Artistic, and GF Trampoline

Step 1: Requirements to Begin the Evaluation Process

Step 2: Evaluation Package

  • Review and Complete the Gymnastics Foundations Evaluation Package
  • Download and carefully review the evaluation package.  This package will guide you through the necessary steps and required documents for the evaluation process.

Step 3:  Evaluation Submission

  • Click here to start the GF Certification Application process
  • Make sure you select the correct evaluation form from the drop-down selection.
  • Fill out the application form
  • Upload all required documents within the evaluation site.
  • Submit Application
  • Pay the $50 application fee (New fees starting July 1, 2025: $100)
  • You will be emailed a link to create an account to communicate with the evaluator.
  • Once submitted Education Manager will review that all requirements have been submitted.  If items are missing, the evaluation will not be assigned to the evaluator until all items are completed.

Important: Do not film your evaluation until your evaluator has approved your evaluation package.

Step 4: Pre-Brief with Coach Evaluator

  • Once the evaluator has reviewed your evaluation package, you will receive an email through the evaluation platform to schedule a pre-brief session. This session is essential to clarify expectations and answer any questions before you begin filming your lesson plan.
  • You can always access your evaluation by CLICKING HERE. Use the email and password you used when you created your account and log in, from there you will see the application you have open.

All communication should happen within the Evaluation Site. If you have not received any form of communication from the Education Manager or an evaluator, contact [email protected]

Step 5: Lesson Plan Observation

  • Coach Evaluator will de-brief with the coach

Step 6: Final Evaluation Results

The Coach Evaluator will inform the coach of the outcome of the evaluation.

  • If the evaluation is successful, the Coach Evaluator will notify the Education Manager, and the certification will be recorded in the coach’s Locker.
  • If the evaluation is unsuccessful, the Coach Evaluator will provide specific feedback on areas that require improvement. Then we suggest resubmitting once those items have been fixed.

Important Notes:

  • You will have up to 90 days to complete your evaluation. If you do not finish within 90 days from submission, you will be required to resubmit your evaluation package and fee again.
  • The evaluation video should only be filmed after receiving approval from your evaluator.  This ensures your content meets all the required standards and criteria.

Competition Introduction (C1) Certification

Complete the following steps to become a certified Competition Introduction (C1) coach in the following Sport-Specific area: C1 MAG, C1 Trampoline, and C1 WAG

Competition Developmental (C3) Certification

Complete the following steps to become a certified Competition Developmental (C3) coach in the following Sport-Specific area: C3 MAG, and C3 WAG

Step 1: Requirements to Begin the Evaluation Process

  • C2 MAG, Trampoline, or WAG Certified
  • Complete 4 of the 5 Multi-Sport Theory Modules (Managing Conflict, Psychology of Performance, Coaching and Leading Effectively, Manage a Sport Program, Leading a Drug-Free Sport)
  • Complete True Sport Clean 101, and Sport-Specific Course(s)
  • You must also be at least 16 years old.
  • Information on the Competition Developmental (C3) Pathway

  • Make sure you select the correct evaluation form from the drop-down selection.
  • Fill out the application form
  • Upload all required documents within the evaluation site.
  • Submit Application
  • Pay the $175 application fee (New fees starting July 1, 2025: $250)
  • You will be emailed a link to create an account to communicate with the evaluator.
  • Once submitted Education Manager will review that all requirements have been submitted.  If items are missing, the evaluation will not be assigned to the evaluator until all items are completed.

Important: The C3 evaluation requires a Podium training session to complete the evaluation process.

Step 5: Podium Training Observation

  • Coach Evaluator will de-brief with the coach

Step 6: Final Evaluation Results

The Coach Evaluator will inform the coach of the outcome of the evaluation.

  • If the evaluation is successful, the Coach Evaluator will notify the Education Manager, and the certification will be recorded in the coach’s Locker.
  • If the evaluation is unsuccessful, the Coach Evaluator will provide specific feedback on areas that require improvement. Then we suggest resubmitting once those items have been fixed.

Important Notes:

  • The 90 days to complete your evaluation will vary due to the requirement of Podium Training. If evaluation is not completed within the Podium training session, you will be required to resubmit your evaluation package and fee again.
