Join our dynamic team at Balance Gymnastics in West Vancouver!

We’re looking for passionate coaches to guide our competitive and pre-competitive Women’s Artistic Gymnastics programs for the September 2026 season and beyond. With additional summer camp opportunities and potential recreational hours through the District of West Vancouver, we offer flexible scheduling with immediate coaching positions available.

Position Details:
·       Coach talented athletes from precompetitive through CCP 2-6 levels, plus Xcel Silver-Platinum
·       Flexible scheduling starting at 4+ hours weekly
·       Competitive compensation: $20-35 hourly plus 4%, reflecting your experience and certification
·       Beautiful training facility at West Vancouver Community Centre (2121 Marine Drive)

As a privately owned club (not a non-profit or parent board-run organization), we maintain consistent leadership and clear communication channels.

Your Role as a Coach
Your expertise will help shape developing athletes through:
·       Crafting progressive lesson plans that challenge and inspire
·       Establishing meaningful goals for both groups and individual gymnasts
·       Delivering engaging, skill-focused training sessions
·       Creating safe training environments with proper spotting techniques
·       Building relationships through regular parent communication
·       Participating in our community events and celebrations
·       Supporting athletes at 3-5 weekend competitions annually (depending on groups)
·       Providing appropriate first aid when needed

Qualifications
We’re seeking candidates with:
·       NCCP Gymnastics Foundations Certification (Women’s Artistic) or higher
·       Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to update)
·       At least one year coaching experience in women’s gymnastics
·       Respect in Sport and SafeSport certification
·       Ability to pass a Police Criminal Record Check
