West Wind Gymnastics Club (WWGC) in Lethbridge AB is looking for a positive, reliable, hardworking, and dedicated individual to help expand our team!

WAG Provincial Stream Compulsory Coach (Levels 1-4)

Looking for a skilled, outgoing and motivated WAG coach. Must be able to coach athletes with a strong attention to detail and high quality basics.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Be able to work unsupervised and coordinate plans, goals, progress with Head Coach
• Excellent spotting skills
• Show strong understanding of the Compulsory routines and ability to teach to athletes
• Help to grow and develop our WAG competitive programs
• Support with parent meetings and team coaches’ meetings
• Communicate with gymnasts and families on the gymnast’s progress regularly
• Be able to assist with the facility maintenance and daily cleaning

Qualifications and Skills:
• Minimum NCCP Competition 1 WAG trained
• Proven experience coaching in a competitive environment
• Respect in Sport
• Good team player that is willing to continuously increase knowledge and qualifications
• Excellent communication skills and good spoken and written English
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• Attend competitions and training camps where needed
• Clear criminal and vulnerable sector checks

Job Type: Part-time permanent position. Full-time hours can be arranged based on certification level and experience with CCP Levels 5+ and involvement in our recreational program.

Salary: According to our club pay scale. Dependant on qualifications and experience.
