We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Developmental Coach to support our recreational and Pre-competitive programs. This position is ideal for a coach who enjoys building strong technical foundations, detail oriented, emphasis on quality gymnastics with values on creating positive athlete experiences while contributing to a culture of excellence both in and out of the gym.

What You’ll Do: – Deliver engaging and progressive training sessions for athletes in our pre-competitive programs based in our long term developmental plan. – Support athlete development through effective coaching, goal setting, and constructive feedback – Create a safe, positive, and inclusive training environment – Collaborate with fellow coaches to ensure consistent programming and athlete progression – Follow consistently the developmental planning in place and provide feedback to our head coaches – Assist with athlete evaluations, class preparation, and season planning – Communicate professionally with athletes, families, and team members – Provide support during events as required – Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and coaching excellence
What We’re Looking For: – NCCP WAG Competition 1 trained (Certification is considered an asset) – Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain – Respect in Sport and Making Ethical Decisions certification – Experience coaching Women’s Artistic Gymnastics athletes – Strong communication and organizational skills – Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment – Passion for helping athletes reach their potential at every stage of development
Additional Assets: – Two years experience coaching pre-competitive athletes – Competition 1 certification or higher – Experience in athlete performance planning – Knowledge of long-term athlete development principles – Previous Gymnast minimum level 8 or higher – Leadership or mentorship experience within a gymnastics environment
