We are so excited to welcome your athletes, coaches, officials and families to the 2026 AGF Provincial Championships. With over 1200 athletes, coaches, and officials registered, this is going to be a fantastic celebration of gymnastics in Alberta!

As shared previously, events of this size rely heavily on the support of our clubs and their volunteers. These volunteer positions can be filled by anyone associated with your club, including coaches, parents, family members, or older athletes. As a thank you, volunteers will receive free day admission for the day that they volunteer (with the exception of athlete award volunteers).

Based on your club’s registration of your child athletes your club is committed to volunteer spots to help support the event. Please note that athlete award volunteers, setup and teardown volunteers do not count towards the required event support numbers. 

To make things as easy as possible for clubs, we have prepared a volunteer recruitment message below that you can share directly with your members, families, and community. Volunteer signups will be managed through an online signup portal. https://signup.com/go/THODdBW

Signups will close on Wednesday, March 25th at 12:00pm.

The AGF team will keep an eye on volunteer registrations by club and will reach out if any clubs still need help filling their assigned shifts. With just over 400 volunteer shifts needed to run the event, we truly appreciate your help in encouraging your community to get involved.
