Yesterday evening, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) resumed their national strike after an announcement from Canada Post regarding planned changes to services. This strike will close some post offices and cancel all mail delivery for the foreseeable future.
Today is the deadline for all Session 1 (July 1 – Aug 31) coach and athlete registrations, and AGF recognizes that this strike will affect any cheque payments sent over the past few days. Rest assured, there will be no late penalty for delayed cheques.
For those clubs that have yet to remit payment, we encourage the use of e-transfers (which can be auto-deposited to [email protected]). Alternatively, we welcome direct deposits to our bank account, or credit card payments made through our office.
For those wishing to pay by credit card, the 2.5% convenience processing fee will be waived for one week until October 3, 2025.
Please note that clubs must still complete all online registrations through Uplifter by end-of-day, and failure to do so will result in late fees. Remember that athletes and coaches training without a valid AGF membership are not covered by insurance and cannot participate in upcoming training camps, trials, or competitions.
